Pierre-Olivier Brèche graduated as an architect in 1998. He created his architecture agency in 2005, after various professional experiences in Paris, Lausanne, Chambéry and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
The POBA agency has a broad scope, covering all types of private programmes, and will soon also work on public projects in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Rhône-Alpes regions.
It takes on projects that result from listening attentively to the needs expressed by clients.
Aware of the importance of the identity of a place and with a real passion for the art of building, the agency adopts a style influenced by original and modern forms of Provencal architecture.
The POBA agency draws its references from an interest in the history of each region and the observation of the traditional canons of architecture. For each project, these references nourish ideas about the site.
Therefore, right from the first drafts, the volumes start to take shape on the basis of a place and its history. The pencil-sketched or computer-designed drawings of the project make the construction feasible, making concepts materialise into inhabited buildings, through a responsible and passionate approach to the art of construction.
